Language Of Love
A wise elder observed his grandson in a heated argument with his wife and inquired, "Why do you raise your voice when arguing with your wife? The grandson replied, "I lose patience when she doesn't grasp my point of view, and that's why I raise my voice."
"But your wife is close enough to hear you even if you speak calmly. Why raise your voice?" the grandfather questioned.
"I raise my voice to ensure I'm heard and to vent my frustration," the grandson explained.
"That's not the real reason you raise your voice," the grandfather countered. "It's because when you're angry, your heart distances from hers. Despite being physically close, you feel emotionally distant, prompting you to raise your voice."
Puzzled, the grandson asked, "If that's why we raise our voices, what happens when we're in love?"
"When two people are in love, their hearts are near," the grandfather elucidated. "A soft whisper is clear to both. In such moments, one can even communicate with a loved one in the language of silence."
